Us.

The Maison des Artisans is a collective of like minded people, each with unique skills in handicrafts using recyclable or sustainable materials. By grouping together each indivdual gains the strength of a whole from sharing resources, knowledge and experience.

Our Green project.

The "Developing capacity for green businesses in Rodrigues was launched in 2016 with the overall objective of promoting sustainable business in Rodrigues for micro and small size businesses and entrepreneurs.

Switch Africa Green.

The Switch Africa Green project is currently being implemented in 6 countries: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa and Uganda. With the support and funding of the EU the project aims to launch a number of projects and initiatives assisting national development and national indicative programmes. The underlying objective being to promote sustainable development by engaging in the transition towards an inclusive green economy.

As a small country we are feel it is our responsibility for managing its resources now so that we can build a better future for those that will follow

Green Business

Activities aimed at supporting transformation towards an inclusive green economy by providing services to entrepreneurs and M&SMEs
enabling them to start and develop green businesses, apply sustainable production practices and create trade opportunities.

A beneficiary of our chips making programme, Jeanne is very happy with overwhelming success her products have seen. From one type of chips she has gone on to experiment with different vegetables and added more and more flavours
